Our partners include Lawrence Kurzer, Michael A. Kurzer, Kenneth S. Kurzer, and Michael H. Kurzer. All are certified public accountants, with a wide range of education, expertise and experience. They are active in numerous accounting organizations and standards-setting groups, as well as many community and civic organizations. All of our partners are members of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.


Michael earned his B.S. in accounting from The School of Management of Syracuse University in 1987. He has been a certified public accountant since 1990. He also has his security license series 7 and series 66 as well as his life, health and accident insurance licenses. He worked in the audit department of J. H. Cohn and Company before joining our firm in 1989. Michael provides his clients with accounting, tax and consulting services as well as personal financial planning. He is an active Rotarian who has served on the district level as an Assistant Governor. On the local level Michael is a past president, vice president, secretary and treasurer of the Clifton Rotary Club. He is a Walter Head recipient and a Paul Harris Fellow. Michael also sits on the Advisory Board of Valley National Bank.


Ken earned his B.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA, in 1988. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1991. He joined our firm in 1990 after working as a senior accountant in the audit department at Arthur Andersen and Co. in New York City. He also has considerable experience in tax planning on both the corporate and individual level. Additionally, he has extensive background in business consulting and planning for closely held companies. He works with a wide range of companies in many different industries including manufacturing, graphic design, wholesale and retail sales. Ken has significant knowledge and experience on renewal community tax incentives offered to cities such as Newark, New Jersey He has counseled many businesses located or considering a move to Newark, where he applied for and successfully coordinated an $8.4 million commercial revitalization deduction award, which is one of the largest awards of its kind in the State of New Jersey. He is the past treasurer of the Paterson Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow.


Michael earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan in 1989. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1991. He joined our firm in 1991 after working for Amper, Politziner and Mattia, CPA's. In addition to his experience in financial statement preparation, corporate and individual tax planning, and business consulting, Michael is in charge of our Business Valuation department. He earned the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) certification and has the skill, education and experience that are critical to practicing business valuations successfully. Michael is a member of both the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past treasurer, vice president, and president of the Rotary Club of Wayne, past treasurer of Rotary International District 7490, and is the current Treasurer of the Gift of Life Foundation. Michael has served on the Management Consulting Services Committee of the New Jersey State Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the Business Valuation of Forensic Litigation Services Section of the AICPA and of the Valuation and Litigation Services Resource Group of the NJSCPA.


Larry earned his B.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business and Finance in 1961. He has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1965 and founded our firm in 1969. He is our financial planning, business advisory and practice development partner. He has been a member of both the Insurance Committee and Personal Financial Planning Committee of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a licensed mortgage solicitor. Larry has served on many boards of directors.


Our staff consists of four active partners as well as a full complement of Certified Public Accountants, senior and junior accountants. Additionally, we have an efficient and experienced group of bookkeepers and support staff all of whom are an integral part of our team.

Continuing professional education is a requirement of the accounting profession. In addition to our frequent in-house seminars, our staff is constantly attending courses given by the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, in order to maintain and improve their knowledge and skills.
